Privacy Policy
This policy explains how CanopyCue handles information when you use the app.
Information stored on your device
CanopyCue stores conversations, messages, drafts, selected goals, chat-rhythm preferences, a local display name, activity, streak, and onboarding state on your device. CanopyCue does not currently create an account, cloud profile, or public profile for you.
Information sent for an AI reply
When you request an AI reply, CanopyCue sends a bounded recent portion of the selected conversation and your optional goal and chat-rhythm identifiers through a Banana Apps LLC Cloudflare Worker to the OpenAI API. The app does not send your local display name. Banana Apps LLC configures these requests with provider storage disabled.
The CanopyCue application backend does not save prompt or reply content. OpenAI may retain API inputs and outputs in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days under its default API data controls, and does not use API data to train its models unless the API organization opts in.
Network and operational data
Cloudflare automatically receives network information, including an IP address, to deliver each request. The Worker converts the address into a rotating, one-way daily rate-limit key. Banana Apps LLC does not place the raw IP address or that key in application logs.
Content-free operational logs record details such as request time rounded to the minute, outcome, latency, token counts, estimated cost, and a sanitized provider request identifier. Current Worker logs are retained for up to 3 days. Aggregate attempt and cost counters are retained for up to 35 days to enforce safety and spending limits.
Sharing and third parties
CanopyCue has no advertising, third-party analytics, cross-app tracking, or sale of personal information. AI requests use Cloudflare for network processing and OpenAI for response generation. If you use the iOS share sheet, Apple sends the content you choose to the destination you select.
Your choices and deletion
Settings lets you delete all conversations or reset all local app data. Deleting the app also removes its local container, subject to iOS backup and device behavior. You may avoid sending new content to the AI service by not requesting an AI reply.
If you email support, Banana Apps LLC receives your email address and the information you include. Support correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. Do not send sensitive conversation content.
Children
CanopyCue is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the request.
Changes and contact
